How to compare both sides
Start with the slider centered. Press Play and listen at a low, comfortable level. Move the slider slightly left and right to learn the effect, then return to center and decide whether one side still feels louder.
Repeat after reseating ear tips or adjusting ear pads. With speakers, sit centered and reduce room reflections as much as practical.
What to check next
If the same side is always louder, inspect OS balance, app balance, cable seating, Bluetooth pairing, and headphone fit. If the louder side changes between devices, the source path is more likely than the headphone driver.
